Junior Eurovision Éire will begin broadcasting from 12th September on TG4 (the Irish language public broadcaster). The series will run over 6 weeks, with 6 hour long episodes each week. The series will be used to determine the participant who will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision in Paris in December.
It is not known who the contestants are, but there will be some familiar faces joining the judging panel as guest judges. Permanent Judges, Niamh Ní Chróinín and Fiachna Ó Braonáin, will be joined by familiar Irish Eurovision legends, Linda Martin (Winner, 1992), Niamh Kavanagh (Winner, 1993), Brian Kennedy (Participant, 2006), Jedward (Participants, 2011 and 2012), and Lesley Roy (Participant, 2020 and 2021).
