16 million people watched the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
The EBU have released the viewing figures for Junior Eurovision 2025, and have confirmed that 16 million people tuned into the 2025 contest across 14 measured markets on television, in addition to millions more via the event’s digital channels. This 16 million viewing figure is a decrease of 7 million compared to the 2024 contest.
The broadcast, live from Tbilisi, Georgia, delivered a 12.9% viewing share among 4-14 year olds, which is more than double the channel average for the measured markets, which sits at around 5.2%. Among 15-24 year olds, the contest saw a 6.1% viewing share, which above the average of 4.2% that is normally achieved by the same group of broadcast channels.
On the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel, 31.6% of all viewers were under 24 years old. The live YouTube broadcast saw the highest numbers of viewers from Poland, followed by Armenia, Ukraine, Spain and host country, Georgia. The YouTube viewing figures increased by 19.2% compared to the 2024 contest.
For the first time ever, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was streamed live on Twitch. The live stream of the 2025 contest saw 333,270 unique viewers, with the highest numbers viewers coming from Germany, Brazil and Spain.
Over on TikTok, the official Junior Eurovision account celebrated over 100 million views, with 101.2 million people viewing Junior Eurovision content on the app. This is an increase of 46 million in the same period in 2024, and marks the firs time the account has reached over 100 million people. The Junior Eurovision YouTube channel also celebrated over 1 million subscribers, earning the channel YouTube’s prestigious Gold Creator Award.
Furthermore, on Instagram, the official Junior Eurovision Instagram account reached 7.8 million accounts, which is a new record and an increase of 37% year on year. Their official Facebook account also saw a new record, with 7.9 million accounts reached, an increase of 1.6 million compared to 2024.

It wasn’t just social media views that boasted above average viewing figures for Junior Eurovision 2025; various broadcasters across Europe recorded better than average viewing figures for the 2025 contest, with Poland and Spain on top.
Poland and Spain attracted the largest television audience for Junior Eurovision 2025, with approximately 1.2 million and 703,000 viewers respectively. Over in Portugal, the broadcaster saw their second-best audience since 2017 with 372,000 viewers. Host country Georgia had their highest viewing figures since 2022 with 71,000 viewers, a year-on-year increase of more than 50,000 viewers. Croatia, who returned to the contest for the first time since 2014, averaged a 12.8% viewing share, which is 46% higher than HRT’s average for that time slot.
Overall, across 14 markets, the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest achieved a viewing share 23% higher than the average performance of the broadcasters in the same time slot.
The country that will host Junior Eurovision 2026 is expected to revealed in the coming weeks. Junior Eurovision 2025 winners France have already confirmed they will not host next years contest, with broadcaster France Télévisions announcing their plans to save the required money across the organisation.
