Today is the day that rehearsals begin for Junior Eurovision 2022.

After the opening ceremony yesterday (December 5th) at Republic Square, and the National Gallery of Armenia, it’s now time for the rehearsals to begin!

A total of eight countries will take to the stage today (December 6th) for their first rehearsals at the Karen Demirchyan Sports Complex in Yerevan. The remaining eight countries will have their first rehearsals on Wednesday 7th. Second rehearsals conclude on Thursday and Friday.

As is the case for all Junior Eurovision (and Eurovision) rehearsals, each act will have forty minutes on stage for their first rehearsal. As has been the case since 2019, the first rehearsals will be held behind closed doors and not available to the press.

The countries that will be rehearsing today have not yet been revealed. As is the norm, it is expected that the official Junior Eurovision website and YouTube channel will upload pictures and short video clips of all the rehearsals.
