
Australia’s Eurovision 2018 representative has been revealed as a new coach for the 10th season for The Voice of Australia in 2021. She will join existing coach Guy Sebastian who was the debutant entrant for Australia at Eurovision in 2015. Rounding off the panel are Australian singer Keith Urban and British singer Rita Ora, who has a Eurovision link after auditioning for Eurovision: Your Country Needs You in 2009 to represent the UK.
Jessica Mauboy is an Australian singer who rose to fame in 2006 after finishing as the runner-up on the fourth season of Australian Idol. Jessica has gone onto become one of the most successful female Australian artists in history including the release of 6 top 10 studio albums, 16 top twenty singles (including 9 top tens) and 2 ARIA music awards.
Jessica holds a significant place in Australia’s Eurovision history. She performed as an interval act at Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen, marking the first time Australia has sent an act to perform on a Eurovision stage. In 2018, Jessica represented Australia at Eurovision with the song We Got Love finishing in 20th place.
