Jennifer Bosshard will have the honour of revealing Switzerland's twelve points on May 11th
With just over a month to go until the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, the participating broadcasters are beginning to reveal the final details of their preparations for Malmö 2024. Turning our attention to Switzerland, the Swiss broadcaster SRF has recently revealed their spokesperson for this year’s contest.
Jennifer Bosshard, a very well-known & acclaimed Swiss TV presenter has been chosen to reveal Switzerland’s jury points during the Grand Final voting on Saturday May 11th. In recent years, Jennifer Bosshard has been a part of a wide variety of TV shows and radio segments across Swiss Radio & Television SRF. However, having the honour of announcing Switzerland’s jury votes at Eurovision 2024 is something Bosshard has always dreamed of, but never really knew if this dream would be made a reality.
Following the announcement, Jennifer Bosshard expressed her excitement, along with the preparation & responsibilities she will now take on in the lead up to the Grand Final;
“It will probably be the best minute of my life! for my part, I will now of course think very carefully about what I want to say. But from a technical point of view, the whole thing will be rehearsed several times until it goes ‘live on air’ on May 11th.”
All will be revealed as to which countries Switzerland’s jury points will be going to, as well as the remaining 36 participating countries who will also reveal their jury points this May in Malmö.
This year, Switzerland will be represented by Nemo with their song “The Code”, which has been climbing the ranks in the bookmakers predictions following an incredible performance at the Madrid Eurovision pre-party. Could 2024 be Switzerland’s year? All will become clearer as we make our way closer to Malmö 2024.
