Jamala has confirmed that she will be performing at Glastonbury Festival 2022.
The Eurovision 2016 winner announced on her official Facebook page that she will be performing at the legendary Glastonbury Festival in Somerset at the end of June.
Glastonbury has many different stages throughout it’s location at Worthy Farm, and Jamala has confirmed that she will be closing the Toad Hall Stage, with her band, on Saturday June 25th.
“Joining Glastonbury 2022!
I will be closing the Toad Hall stage of the legendary British festival on June 25. Really looking forward to this show – to play with my band again, to perform new music. The line-up also includes Ukrainian artists Go-A and DakhaBrakha.”
Jamala now becomes the third Ukrainian singer to be announced for Glastonbury 2022. On May 19th, Go_A announced that they would be performing on the John Peel Stage at this years festival. Ukrainian folk quartet DakhaBrakha will also be performing.
Glastonbury is one of the biggest music festivals in the world and has been going strong since it’s inception in 1970. This years festival sees Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross headlining.
