Updated flag policy outlined for Eurovision 2025

After an 8-year hiatus, Edyta Górniak is finally releasing a new studio album, which has made her fans very excited! While the exact release date of the full album has not been specified yet, the singer has recently revealed some insider news about it. along with the premiere of her new single “Lime (TeQuila-ila)” on Polish radio station RMF on July 24th. Edyta has spoken to Polish newspaper Fakt about her upcoming album:
“It will not be a very pop album (…) I moved away from pop a bit and I think that the last things showed it – Andromeda, Your High and Król. However, I went more into such modern times and electronics. There will not be such strictly pop there, but I hope people will like these songs”
The reggae-pop song has been written and produced by American DJ Justin Spillner a.k.a DJ KO, alongside Rizzi Myers and Edyta herself. The official music video for the song is expected to be released in the coming days.
Despite not launching a new album in the past 8 years, Edyta has been consistently active on the Polish music scene. She toured extensively between 2019-2020 and also released two new singles – Król with Eurovision 2018 act Gromee and My Way.
2020 is a special year for Edyta as she celebrates 30 years of artistic work in the music industry. In addition to this, May 2020 marked the 25th Anniversary of her debut album Dotyk, which includes the hit song To nie ja! (It Wasn’t Me) that brought Poland second place at their Eurovision debut in 1994. This still remains Poland’s best result to date!
