In the mood for a good ballad? Hadise releases new single ‘Küçük Bir Yol’!

New music alert! The first single of Hadise’s EP Küçük Bir Yol (a small road), was released on all digital platforms on Thursday, September 3. The song received great acclaim in a short time from the moment it was first released, it received millions of likes and ranked first.

In her new single ‘Küçük Bir Yol, Hadise combined the delicate elements of her lyrics with an arrangement of touching strings, guitars and much more. The music and arrangement of the song, recorded in Los Angeles, belongs to Devrim Karaoğlu, with lyrics by Mete Özgencil and Devrim Karaoğlu. The mix of the song was done by Will Brierre, mastering by Howie Weinberg and Will Borza, who have signed many important projects.

Hadise rides a horse and passes through giant buildings and plazas in her video, which reflects the image of a “strong woman”. You can check out the music video below.

The Turkish-Belgian singer Hadise has participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song ‘Dum Tek Tek’, where she ended up on 4th place with 177 points. Her entry remains as one of the most listened Turkish Eurovision entries with over 60 million views.

Turkey at Eurovision

Turkey has had a long history in the Eurovision Song Contest, first taking part in 1975 with Semiha Yankı’s Seninle Bir Dakika, which came in 19th (last) place with 3 points. Turkey’s best result came in 2003 where Sertab Erener won the contest with Everyway That I Can with 167 points. Their last performance in Eurovision was in 2012 where Can Bonomo performed Love Me Back in Baku, Azerbaijan. He came in 7th place with 112 points before the country withdrew from the contest in 2013.
