The “My Number One” singer welcomes Autumn in by presenting her brand new single “Se Xeno Soma”(In a Foreign Body). Helena Paparizou’s new single is expected to be included in her upcoming full-length album entitled “Shades”, which will be released in November by Minos EMI, a Universal Music Company.

In the song, which is a dynamic love ballad with strong ethnic elements, Helena talks about situations intertwined with the most enigmatic and ambiguous emotion, love.

Helena’s new song comes with a dramatic video clip, shot under the direction of Giannis Michelopoulos. It touches on a sensitive subject, filming the personal story of a man who is imprisoned “In a Foreign Body”. The young man experiences the opposition of the “musts” of society with his own “I want”, and expresses his truth through his body, while Helena Paparizou does not cease to be a simple everyday person when she “deconstructs” the perfection of the image of which we are accustomed. In the end, the two characters face their own truth in the mirror.

Helena’s first appearance at Eurovision was her participation with the song “(I Would) Die For You” at Eurovision 2001 as part of the band Antique, where they reached 3rd place. She tried again in 2005 and won the 50th Eurovision Song Contest with “My Number One”, bringing the contest to Greece for the first time. This song was voted as the fourth best Eurovision song of the past 50 years by European TV viewers on October 22, 2005 in the show “Congratulations”, the 50th anniversary of the competition.
