Jendrik is representing Germany at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with his own song ‘‘I Don’t Feel Hate”. On Saturday he got invited to the German TV show ”Schlagerchampions” and performed his Eurovision entry for the first time live.
You can check out his first live performance in the clip below:
The performance had already been recorded a few days ago (the recording of the show lasted three days). Due to the Covid circumstances, Jendrik’s appearance should not be a hint for the show in Rotterdam, but rather that of the internal German final in Cologne, where the performance was recorded exclusively for the juries.
Jendrik was not the only German representative who performed at ”Schlagerchampions”: The pop group ”No Angels” that represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest of 2008 with ”Disappear” recently reunited and performed one of their most famous songs on Saturday, 7 years after they split up.
What do you think of Germany’s entry this year? Do you liked the live performance? Let us know in the comments!
