He’s running into fire! Uku Suviste releases new single “Torman Tulle”

| November 16, 2020

Eesti Laul 2020 winner Uku Suviste has released a new single ahead of his Eesti Laul 2021 song release next month.

“Torman Tulle”, meaning “I’m running into fire” is Uku’s second single after his win at the Estonian Eurovision selection. Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Uku was unable to go ahead and represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest because of it’s inevitable cancellation.

“Torman Tulle” is a world away in terms of genre compared to Uku’s previous singles.

We’re used to a very modern sound from Uku, but this time he has chosen to take his sound back to the 1980’s with the synths and catchy rythyms.

Due to the fact that the Eesti Laul 2021 songs are less than a month away from being released, it’ll be interesting to find out if the 80’s vibe is going to be a part of Uku’s entry and ultimately be his new sound. “What Love Is”, his 2020 winning entry, was polar opposite to his 2019 entry “Pretty Little Liar” which landed 3rd place in the final. So can we expect some different and unique to his previous entry for 2021?
