After taking a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Georgia’s national final for Junior Eurovision 2020, Ranina, will return on September 11th. This will be the third year running that Georgia will use Ranina to chose their entrant for Junior Eurovision.
Ranina will consist of 10 shows, with a total of 10 acts participating. All of the 10 acts will compete in a total of eight heats. The top five acts from these heats will advance on to the semi final. The top three acts from the semi final will advance to the grand final, where one of them will be crowned the winner and thus earn the right to represent Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2020 in Poland.
The ten acts for Ranina 2020 have already been selected, before the COVID-19 pandemic put the show on hold.
