It has been confirmed that the band Galasy ZMesta will represent Belarus at this years Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Ya Nachu Tebya” (I’ll Teach You).
The band, who come from the city of Baranavichy in Belarus, is made up of five members: Dmitry Butakov, Evgeniy Artyukh, Evgeniy Kardash, Irina Sorgovitskaya and Maxim Ponomarenko.

Unlike in previous years, where Belarus has typically held a national final to chose their Eurovision representatives, Galasy ZMesta were chosen via an internal selection. They beat Belarussian acts like Kazna and Zena (2019), who were reported to have submitted an entry to the broadcaster.
