France: Slimane releases his Eurovision 2024 entry ‘Mon Amour’

We have our first official entry of Eurovision 2024 Slimane has released 'Mon Amour' which will represent France at in Malmö!

French broadcast France Télévisions revealed the song on channel France 2. Slimane was announced France’s artist for Eurovision 2024 earlier today. You can read more about him here

France at Eurovision

France are one of the 14 countries who took part in the first Eurovision Song Contest back in 1956, and have gone on the win the contest six times (1958, 1960, 1962, 1969 and 1972). 

France are a member of the Big 5, meaning they have automatically qualified for final since the introduction of semi finals in 2004. Their best result in recent years came two years ago in Rotterdam, where Barbara Pravi finished in 2nd place with her song “Voilà“.

Last year France were represented by La Zarra, with the French Canadian singer finishing in 16th place with her song “Évidemment“.
