| August 11, 2020

After confirming their participation in Junior Eurovision 2020 back in July, we now have the first three songs that will be competing for a place in the final of Ukraine’s national final for Junior Eurovision.

The submissions window for songs has been open since August 5th, and will remain open until August 25th. All interested participants must submit their entries to the official website of the broadcaster. Once submitted, they will be reviewed by a jury, and, if successful, they will be uploaded to onto the website with the hashtag #uajesc2020.

The first song comes from Karina Zayets. Karina is known to the Ukrainian audience as she auditioned for The Voice Kids season 4 alongside fellow Junior Eurovision participant Daneliya Tuleshova.

The second song comes from Mariya Danilova who is singing her song “Syayvo” (Shining).

The final song, “Vstyhnemo vse!” comes from Mariya Tkachuk. Mariya is no stranger to Ukrainian national finals as she took part in 2019 with the song “Nytochky”.

The eleven finalists will be revealed between August 28th and September 4th, with the winner being decided between the 5th and 7th of September. The winner will be chosen via a mix of jury voting and social media voting.
