Fan favourites 5MIINUST + Puuluup and OLLIE are among five qualifiers which complete the Eesti Laul 2024 grand final line up.
The show took place in the University of Tartu Sports Hall in Tartu and was hosted by Tõnis Niinemets and Grete Kuld. 15 songs competed in the semi final, with the following five qualifying:
- OLLIE – “My Friend”
- 5MIINUST x Puuluup – “(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”
- Ewert and the Two Dragons – “Hold Me Now”
- Peter Põder – “Korra veel”
- Anet Vaikmaa – “Serotoniin”
The first three finalist were decided by the combination of 50% jury vote and 50% public vote, while the final two were decided by 100% public. OLLIE, 5MIINUST x Puuluup and Ewert and the Two Dragons earned the first three spots, while Peter Põder and Anet Vaikmaa received the last two.
This means the following 10 songs have been eliminated:
- INGA – “No Dog On a Leash”
- YONNA – “I Don’t Know About You”
- Cartoon, Ewert Sundja – “Oblivion”
- Traffic – “Wunderbar” (Wonderful)
- Ingmar – “Dreaming”
- Laura – “Here’s Where I Draw the Line”
- Sofia Rubina – “Be Good”
- Antsud – “Vetevaim”
- Silver Jusilo – “Lately”
- Cecilia – “FOMO”
The five qualifiers will now join the five automatic qualifiers in the Eesti Laul grand final on 17 February, with the winner earning the right to represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö. The full grand final line up is:
- Brother Apollo – “Bad Boy”
- Carlos Ukareda – “Never Growing Up”
- Daniel Levi – “Over The Moon”
- Nele-Liis Vaiksoo – “Käte ümber jää”
- Uudo Sepp & Sarah Murray – “Still Love”
