The organizers of Pride Barcelona 2021 recently announced the postponement of celebrations for the weekend of 3 and 4 September, after the suspension of last year’s edition. According to the statement, the organization opted to postpone the event to hold it in better safety conditions and with a higher percentage of the population vaccinated against Covid-19.
This year’s event will feature stages at “Arco del Triunfo” and “Parc de la Ciutadella” due to the works on the “Plaça d’ Espanya” metro station, which prevents the celebrations from being held on “Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina”, as it was before. The official program will be revealed in the coming weeks, but the celebration already has two confirmed Eurovision artists: Eleni Foureira and Elena Tsagrinou, representatives of Cyprus at the Eurovision Festival 2018 and 2021, respectively.
