Eden Golan has earned the right to Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö.
Israeli broadcaster KAN revealed their artist through talent contest HaKokhav HaBa, hosted in the Neve Ilan Communications Center by Assi Azar and Rotem Sela. Eden Golan won the contest over the following finalist:
- Dor Shirmon
- Mika Moshe
- Or Cohen
The song is set to be released in March.
Israel at Eurovision
Israel debuted in the contest in 1973 with Ilanit and the song “Ey Sham” which came 4th. Israel have won the contest 4 times, with their most recent success coming in 2018 when Netta won with her song “Toy“.
After failing to qualify in 2022, Israel returned to form in 2023 with Noa Kirel finishing in third with the song “Unicorn“.
