Duncan Laurence says YES to American songwriter boyfriend

Wedding bells are in the air for Duncan Laurence and his American songwriter boyfriend Jordan Garfield.

The 2019 Eurovision champion revealed on social media that he is engaged to his boyfriend with a black and white photo of an engagement ring on his finger and the words “I love you”.

Garfield posted a similar heartfelt announcement on his social media as well, with a picture of Duncan and himself and the caption “I am the luckiest man in the world. I asked Duncan to marry me and he said Yes! I have never been so happy in my life. I’m gonna marry a kind, smart, genuine, talented, and handsome man. I’m also marrying my best friend”.

Duncan and Jordan met in Los Angeles and have been together since the beginning of the year according to reports by the Dutch Media but the pair only confirmed in May 2020 that they are together in a relationship.

Duncan Laurence, a Dutch singer-songwriter, won the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, giving the Netherlands their 4th win and their 1st win since 1975. He won with the song Arcade with 498 points.

Since his victory, the “small town boy” has been very busy playing major gigs across The Netherlands, travelled throughout Europe on promotional tours and signed a record deal with Capital Music in Los Angeles!

Duncan has also recently released a new single Last Night from his upcoming album Small Town Boy. He has also announced a live concert on 17th November 2020 at the Ziggo Dome Arena in Amsterdam! The concert will fully comply with Dutch COVID Regulations.
