Being known as one of the best Balkan singers today, Damir Kedžo has released his new single “Sjeti se”, which can be translated to “Remember”. In this Croatian ballad, Kedžo is singing about forgiveness in a twisted relationship, trying to remember the good memories after a breakup. As always, Damir manages to touch the heart of all Balkan ballad lovers with his rich and full voice which can be perfectly showcased in this song.
Damir Kedžo was the winner of Dora 2020 and therefore was supposed to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands with the Croatian Balkan ballad “Divlji vjetre”. Despite many other countries sending their 2020 acts to the 2021 contest, Croatia have decided to stick to their national selection process and therefore didn’t nominate Damir internally. Stating a few days ago that he won’t participate in Dora next year, he therefore won’t represent his country at Eurovision 2021.
What do you think about Damir’s new single? Would you like to see him return to Dora someday? Let us know down in the comments.
