Iceland have done it again! While celebrating 10 years of Daði & Gagnamagnið, they have released the song title for their Eurovision song that will be out on March 13th – 10 Years. Daði announced this on his Instagram today, and you can pre save the song through the link on his profile to be one of the first to listen when the song comes out!

It looks like according to the image Daði posted that it could be a celebration for his wife and that they have been together for 10 years. A very adorable and cute way to show his love for the woman he share his life with!

Daði & Gagnamagnið´s Eurovision journey

From competing in Söngvakeppnin in 2017 to winning everyone’s hearts in 2020. It began with Daði & Gagnamagnið wanting to try and reach out to the Icelandic public, showing that different creative ways to do music exist. 2017 they competed in the Icelandic Eurovision selection with the song Is This Love? and came 2nd in the final.

2020 was a lot different for Daði & Gagnamagnið because they had the mindset that they really wanted to stand out and win Söngvakeppnin 2020. They quickly became huge favourites, not only among the Icelandic public, but also were a huge viral hit in Europe. There was no question that they were the right choice for Iceland and they won with their song Think About Things and were among bookies and fan favourites to win Eurovision.

In the end, they didn’t get to perform on the Eurovision stage and show what they wanted to bring due to the pandemic. We can only hope for the best and that they’ll bring something great to Rotterdam in May!
