| April 23, 2021

Blas Cantó has released the English version of “Voy a quedarme”, the song with which he will represent Spain in Eurovision 2021. Under the title “I’ll stay”, the artist presents an acoustic and intimate production with which he wants to make reach his exciting story to viewers across Europe. It is available on all digital platforms from today.

With this version, the fans of the contest will understand each verse of “Voy a quedarme”: its meaning, its history, the feelings conveyed by the song composed by Blas Cantó along with Leroy Sánchez, Daniel Ortega ‘Dangelo’ and Dan Hammond. “I would like people to understand the lyrics in the largest possible places”, Blas told a Spanish public television team during the recording of the song. “We are going to take the song to where it was born. It is a little longer. There are moments that we eliminate and that now we rescue for this version. I think it is a good moment to remember how it all started”.

The Spanish singer is also preparing another version in French, but without release date yet.
