Benidorm Fest 2023 songs to be released on December 19th

The Benidorm Fest 2023 songs will be released on December 19th.

The Spanish broadcaster has confirmed that the 18 songs which will be competing in the 2023 edition of Benidorm Fest will be released on December 19th.

The song reveal will be accompanied by a press conference at RTVE studios in Madrid, in which all the 18 acts will be present.

Double ticket giveaway!

In response to the tickets for Benidorm Fest 2023 selling out in a matter of seconds, RTVE will be giving away multiple pairs of tickets for the semi finals and grand final. 

The tickets will be given away during three television shows on LA1: La Lotería de Navidad on December 22nd, Las Campanadas on December 31st and La Cabalgata de Reyes on January 6th.

The Benidorm International Song Festival, which was based on Italys Sanremo, was an annual contest held in the city of Benidorm from 1959 until 2006 (with the exception of 1979, 1984 and 1986-1992).

Benidorm Fest, which is based on the original Benidorm International Song Festival, returned in 2021 and served as Spain’s national final for Eurovision 2022.

The festival, hosted by Alaska, Inés Hernández and Máxim Huerta, saw 14 artists competing for the chance to become Spain’s Eurovision 2022 representative. After two semi finals and one grand final, it was Chanel who was crowned the winner with “SloMo”.

The return of Benidorm Fest was a great success for Spain as Chanel went on to achieve the countrys best ever result in Eurovision, finishing in 3rd place with 459 points.
