The will be no Eurovision pre-parties in Spain in 2026.
Following on from Spain’s withdrawal from Eurovision 2026, it has been confirmed that the two Eurovision pre-parties that take place in Spain, BCN Eurovision Party in Barcelona and PrePartyES in Madrid, will not take place in 2026.
BCN Eurovision Party
Due to take place in Barcelona next April, the organisers of the party released a statetment in support of RTVE’s decision to withdraw from Eurovision 2026, which resulted in the organisers feeling they cannot go ahead with the pre-party next year.
PrePartyES
PrePartyES was due to celebrate its 10th anniversary in Madrid on April 3rd and 4th, 2026. However, due to RTVE’s decision to withdraw from Eurovision 2026, the organisers of the party have also made the decision to not hold PrePartyES next year.
Pre-Party season 2026 at risk?
Despite the BCN Eurovision Party and PrePartyES not going ahead in 2026, The Nordic Eurovision Party, Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam and the London Eurovision Party are still expected to go ahead as usual next year on the 21st March, and the 11th and 19th of April respectively.
Eurovision in Concert just recently revealed the hosts for the party – Cornald Maas and Krista Siegfrids. Further details about the Nordic Eurovision Party and the London Eurovision Party are expected in the coming months.
