The Austrian representative for Eurovision 2021, Vincent Bueno, has revealed that his song for next year’s contest will be released in March.
Speaking as a guest on a special Christmas show on Austrian radio station Ö3, Vincent outlined some of his plans and expectations for Eurovision 2021.
When asked if he is worried about the contest next year, Vincent explained that he is not really thinking about it too much. He did however admit that he can’t imagine the contest taking place in the usual way that we all know and love, with people from all over the world coming together in Rotterdam. Whilst we don’t know yet what shape the contest will take, the EBU’s four scenarios will ensure that in some form, we will be able to have a contest in 2021.
The radio host then goes on to ask Vincent when his song will be released, to which he says “I think it will be released in March.” Although we don’t know when exactly, the deadline for songs to be submitted is usually around the middle of the month.
