After her success with the song ‘Kingdom Come’ from Melodifestivalen earlier this year, finishing 3rd in the final, Anna Bergendahl has finally dropped a new single. On August 14th she released the song ‘Thelma and Louise’. The title is a reference to the 1991 movie of the same name.
The song is very much in Anna’s current style, country pop, and it talks about fantasising about not always doing what you should do, because things that people regret are not the things they did do; it’s the things they didn’t do. It has been written by Anna herself alongside Fredrik Sonefors and Jimmy Jansson.

Anna Bergendahl represented Sweden in Eurovision 2010 with the song ‘This is my life’. Finishing 11th in her Semi-final, which marks the only time Sweden has not advanced to the Eurovision final since the introduction of semi finals in 2004. In 2019, Anna Bergendahl made a comeback to Melodifestivalen with ‘Ashes toAshes’, finishing in 10th place. She returned again this year with ‘Kingdom Come’, where she finished in 3rd place.
