Will Ferrell’s Netflix movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga has been nominated in the ‘Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media’ category at the 2021 Grammy Awards! This is a major nomination for the soundtrack of the movie with a star studded cast including Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams and a whole host of cameos from Eurovision stars past and present.
The nominations were announced by Sharon Osbourne via a live stream on 24th November, with the winners being announced on 31st January 2021. The movie has some tough competition though, with Disney’s Frozen 2 also nominated; but we will have everything crossed for success on the night!
The soundtrack became very popular with Eurovision fans for songs such as Double trouble, In The Mirror and Husavik, which was sung amazingly by Molly Sandén, Junior Eurovision 2006 representative for Sweden and three times Melodifestivalen participant.
