San Marino will select their Eurovision 2026 representative on March 7th.
San Marino RTV General Director Roberto Sergio, has revealed that the final of the San Marino Song Contest 2026 will take place on March 7th at Teatro Nuovo in Dogana. It will be broadcast live on San Marino RTV, channel 550 and Radio San Marino.
The 2026 edition of the San Marino Song Contest will be comprised of two semi finals on March 3rd and 4th, and the final on March 7th. 20 artists from the Dreaming San Marino Song Contest, the open casting round organised by Media Evolution for the San Marino Song Contest, will compete in the shows two semi finals.
Ten emerging acts from the semi finals will advance to the final of the San Marino Song Contest, where they will be joined by ten established artists. It has not yet been revealed what the voting system will look like in the final, and how the winner will be determined.
The San Marino Song Contest made it’s debut this year, with the national final formerly being known as Una Voce Per San Marino. Italian musician, DJ and producer, Gabry Ponte, emerged victorious with his song “Tutta L’Italia”, a song which had previously been used as the theme song for this years edition of Sanremo. Gabry Ponte achieved San Marino’s fourth qualification in the country’s Eurovision history, and their first qualification since 2021. He finished in 26th place with 27 points in the final.
