The running orders for the two semi finals of Festival da Canção 2022 have been revealed today by Hugo van de Ding in collaboration with the Portuguese broadcaster.
Semi Final one:
- Os Quatro e Meia – “Amanhã”
- Themisterdriver – “Calisun”
- Diana Castro – “Ginger Ale”
- FF – “Como é Bom Esperar Alguém.
- Norton – “Hope”
- Aurea – “Why?”
- Kumpania Algazarra – “A Minha Praia”
- Maro – Suadade, Suadade”
- Valas & Os Astronautas – “Odisseia”
- Fado Bicha – “Povo Pequenino”
Semi final two:
- Os Azeitonas – “Solta a Voz e Canta”
- Cubita – “Una Mensagem Tua”
- Inês Hommem de Melo – “Fome de Viagem”
- Syro – “Ainda Nos Temos”
- Pepperoni Passion – “Código 30”
- Milhanas – “Corpo de Mulher”
- O Vampiro Submarino – “Ao Lado de Mim”
- Jonas – “Pontas Soltas”
- Blacci – “Mar no Fim”
- Pongo e Tristany – “Dégrá.Dê”
The 56th edition of Festival da Canção will begin on March 5th with the first semi final and will end on March 12th with the grand final.
This years show will be comprised of two semi finals and one final. Ten acts will compete in each semi final, with five acts from each qualifying to the final.
The Black Mamba were the winners of Festival da Canção in 2021 with their song “Love Is On Your Side”. At Eurovision in Rotterdam, they qualified to the final and achieved one of Portugal’s best results in the contest, finishing in 12th place with 153 points.
