With one day to go until the final submission date, Khabar revealed on their Instagram that a whopping 368 entries have been received thus far to represent Kazakhstan at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest! The submissions window has been open since 10th August.
As stated in one of our previous articles, these are the four steps of Kazakh’s National selection process for Junior Eurovision 2020:
Kazakhstan has been very successful at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest despite participating only twice. Their debut entry “Ózińe sen (Seize the Time)” in 2018 by Daneliya Tuleshova placed 6th overall. In 2019, Yerhan Maksim gave Kazakhstan their best ever result with his song “Armanyńnan qalma (Don’t Waste your Dream)”, which placed 2nd overall.
