Katerine Duska creates an ode to the night with new song “Call me Nyx”!

Katerine Duska, who represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, released a new single called “Call me Nyx“. The song is dedicated to Nyx, the goddess of the night and will be included in the upcoming concept EP, which will be released in 2021. 

The song is inspired by her special relationship with the night. An anthem to the transformation that talks about how you turn pain into your greatest strength. “I wrote it at a time when I was simply not sleeping. It had its darkness, and for me this song was like a spellsaid Katerine Duska about her new song.

“This song is something like my superhero anthem. It’s an ode to transformation, it’s about coming into the skin you are most proud of & making your pain your biggest strength. Even when everyone else might think you need healing I say, ‘Keep me keep me up at night.'”

Call me Nyx” was written by her close collaborator David Sneddon, who has worked with Lewis Capaldi, Lana del Rey, Mika, Hurts, while the production took place in London with Anu Pillai (Lewis Capaldi, Roisin Murphy) and in Athens with Daniel Hyde.

Katerine at Eurovision:

Katerine Duska took part at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song “Better Love“, with which she reached 21st place in the grand final.
