Anja Nissen released her new single “Can’t Do This” on 22nd of October 2020 on her YouTube channel. This modern pop song is a breakup song where she tries to maintain a relationship, but simply couldn’t take the pressure and the fights any longer. Lyrics such as “You manipulate my feelings. I can forgive but I won’t forget it.” demonstrate that she fought for her love and is able to make sacrifices for the relationship. Furthermore, Nissen sings that “I’m over the things you say. You pushed me to my limit. Now I just can’t do this no more.” which shows a toxic relationship which ultimately had to end for both of them. In comparison to her other songs, this single shows a different, more vulnerable side to her.
